As a very creative person, I love creating new products. That was also the reason why I mechanical and industrial design engineering .
Thanks to my motivation and courage, I have been able to work successfully on many exciting projects in different countries. My 14 years of professional experience mainly covers the automotive and aerospace industries, where I have developed aerodynamic, robust and application-specific parts using lightweight structures and materials such as carbon fiber and reinforced plastic compounds.
I always had the vision of starting my own project that would allow me to realise my greatest passion - creating bicycles.
That's how I met Josip, and together we started to create what Furka is today.
I’ve always had a deep connection to craftsmanship.I spent my childhood mainly in my grandfather's carpentry workshop or in my uncle's car repair shop. When I wasn't there, I spent a lot of time with my great-uncle, an electrical engineer, who explained many things to me and sometimes even allowed me to do electrical work with him.
As I got older and earned my own money, I devoted myself to old cars and restored them down to the smallest detail. My passion for mechanics and electronics is great, and there's nothing I can't bring from concept to reality with my own hands.
During my electrical engineering studies I was a member of the Formula Student Team AMZ, at ETH Zürich, where I was involved in the development of a High-end carbon racing car This experience awakened in me a deep passion for high performance through perfect engineering.
Over the last 20 years, I have developed high-end machines for the production of electronic components, steering gears for the automotive industry and medical devices for blood diagnostics.
Although I've been passionate about cycling since I was a child and bought an Argon (18) 15 years ago, this passion took a back seat for a while. But then Javier rekindled this enthusiasm in me and we started the project Furka
